Privacy Policy

Price Harvest is an early-stage grocery price-comparison project. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you join our interest list, take our survey, or send us a message — why we collect it, where it’s stored, and how you can have it removed. We keep this short and honest because we’re asking for your trust before we’ve even launched.
What we collect
Depending on which parts of the page you use, we may collect:
- Your email address — only if you choose to give it, to join the interest list or to let us follow up. The survey itself is anonymous and does not require an email.
- Your country and ZIP / postal code — so we can prioritize which stores and regions to support first.
- Your survey answers — your shopping habits, store preferences, priorities, and any free-text comments you write.
- Issue reports and questions — the message you type, and your email if you include it for a reply.
- Basic technical and analytics fields — things your browser sends automatically or that help us understand traffic: page URL, referring link, an anonymous visit/attribution code, browser user-agent, language, time zone, and screen/viewport size. We do not collect your name or precise location.
Why we collect it
- To notify you when Price Harvest becomes available, if you asked us to.
- To decide which stores, regions, and features to build first.
- To understand how people find us and to fix problems you report.
Where it’s stored
Submissions are stored in Supabase (a hosted PostgreSQL database provider) on our behalf. Access is limited to the people running Price Harvest. We take reasonable measures to keep your information secure, but no online service can promise perfect security.
What we don’t do
- We do not sell information that identifies you personally (like your email address), and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We may use aggregated, de-identified usage trends — for example, how often people search for certain items — to understand demand, including in conversations with potential retail partners. That aggregated use never identifies you individually.
- We don’t send marketing on behalf of third parties.
- We only email you for the purpose you agreed to (interest list updates and/or follow-up).
Removing your data or unsubscribing
You can ask us to delete your information or stop emailing you at any time. Just email support@priceharvest.app from (or mentioning) the address you signed up with, and we’ll remove your records. Any “unsubscribe” link in an email we send will do the same for email updates.
Age
Price Harvest and this survey are intended for people 18 or older.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Because we’re pre-launch, details may evolve as the product does.
